Zach and Kristen chose to have a morning ceremony, so we arrived bright and early to start getting ready. I continuously ran back and forth and up and down stairs with my camera, between the girls' room and the guys' room. Quite different! The girls had a big bathroom with lots of counters and mirrors, meanwhile the guys had a pool table and swords! The hair and makeup artists were so talented and I was amazed at how quickly they transformed Kristen's hair into a beautiful and elegant work of art. The guys played pool and took every photo opportunity with the swords while the girls covered the counters with makeup and hairspray and turned themselves into super models.

There was a nervous but exciting energy in both rooms. It was so fun to be the only one to see both sides during the getting ready stage, while each was anticipating that first look at the aisle. It was very sweet when the bride's mother asked me to send some messages to the groom and to tell him "hi". It was obvious she approved of her daughter's choice :) Then watching Zach place a corsage on their mother was also a tender moment This was a BIG day for her too, her first child was getting married! Of course the guys were finished getting ready before the girls, and everyone anxiously waited. It was only moments before the ceremony would begin!

I Absolutely loved this venue with the beautiful Superstition Mountains in view right from the ceremony stage. The purple accented florals from Crismon's were gorgeous! And Zach is a BIG Star Wars fan, so it was fun to see his passion incorporated into the decoration details :)

It was bright and sunny when the ceremony started, with little wind and comfortable temperatures, the weather was perfect! Grandmothers and parents walked out first followed by the rest of the bridal party and the adorable flower girl! Kristen finally came and she was stunning. Definitely hard for the guests to hold back smiles and tears. The ceremony was beautiful with many nice words spoken by her uncle who officiated and vows shared between the couple. After all the early morning preparation and excitement they were finally, and officially, Mr. and Mrs.
