I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of our small town’s most talented theater stars, Carter. He’s been in countless high school and CMT shows, so it was only fitting that we captured some shots at the center where he’s shined in so many roles.

His mom and grandma—his biggest backstage supporters—joined in for a special moment on the center’s stage, which was a heartwarming idea from his grandma. We even bumped into his choir teachers at the high school and managed to grab a great shot in front of the fine arts center, his home away from home these past four years.

Fresh off his incredible performance as the prince in Cinderella, Carter brought his crown along for a few photos, making the session all the more memorable. With performing in his blood, he was such a natural in front of the camera, and I loved every minute of creating this fun, dynamic gallery!
