After taking her newborn pictures I couldn’t believe it had been a year and it was already time for her first birthday milestone pictures! Her mom always does the best job at planning themes, props, and adorable outfits for her kids and family. Katalina’s 1st birthday session in the natural light studio was full of smiles, fun, and cake! Just the way it should be! For the first set of pictures her mom made sure to include Bluey, her favorite character, so she’ll always have a reminder of what she loved at this age :) The next outfit, her fluffy pink dress and bow, was absolutely adorable and the present prop for her to play with topped it all off.

The last set of pictures mom did a tropical theme based off her own personal theme song “Katalina Island”. That song was the theme for her birthday party and we played it during the session to help bring out some smiles :) It was the perfect session and I loved the variety of outfits and props that were included. Katalina is a doll and she made it easy to capture her silly, sassy personality and smiles. Happy Birthday Katalina!
